The garden in Varibobi was designed as a living journey rather than just an outdoor space.
The entrance unfolds as a green curved corridor leading to the main house, where fruit trees and aromatic shrubs with their seasonal scents and textures guide the visitors towards the residence.
At the heart of the garden, three mulberry trees are planted in order to create shade and character. Around them, a mix of perennials — roses, achilleas, perovskias, stachys, and centranthus — add color and rhythm throughout the seasons, balanced by a soft lawn that opens the space. The planting palette is diverse, combining structure with spontaneity, and encouraging constant discovery.
A Mediterranean mix of tall shrubs defines the perimeter, securing privacy while framing the interior views. The guesthouse is integrated at the end of the garden walk, softened by surrounding plantings.
What results is not only a garden to look at, but one to walk through, live in, and experience differently each time of year.
